What it means to us
Integrity
We’re not talking about morality, what is ‘right or ‘wrong’, we are talking about the little and big things that has people trust us. Our willingness to tell the truth to our client when it needs to be spoken, even though it may be uncomfortable or confronting. It means following through when the going gets tough. It means doing what we know will provide value to our client, even when it is not expected.
Respect
We believe that every successful relationship requires respect. We recognise that each person is on their own journey, particularly when it comes to environmental sustainability. Respecting where people are at, is fundamental to the way we communicate with others. There is no room for judgement at Great Forest Australia.
Excellence
We simply can’t make the difference we are committed to making if we don’t provide excellence. We believe that in order to provide excellence and value for money for our clients, we have to learn from our mistakes, and keep lifting the bar higher.
Responsibility
We take pride in taking collective and personal responsibility for our work – in our relationships, communication and daily activities. By responsibility, we don’t mean blame, fault or burden. We mean seeing things from the viewpoint that we are ultimately responsible for how things go, from start to finish. This does not mean that we will not call others to account either! It’s a very powerful place to come from, and allows us to learn and grow.
Collaboration
Together, we can move mountains! This is a big focus for us, and at Great Forest Australia, we develop and foster great relationships. We believe that everyone has something to contribute, in fact our planet is depending on it! We freely share our knowledge with our colleagues and clients and we support them in their work, and celebrate their successes.
Passsion
